Finding my muse...

I have been surfing the web, looking at layouts and thinking of techniques that work for me. So far this what I like the most...

1- Multiple photos (For me it paints a better picture and it becomes the focal point of the page)

2- Titles (Allows me to play off of it for journaling and it catches my eye)

3- Solid background ( allows me to layer pp freely)

4- Limited embellies ( I want it to look pretty but I don't want them to overpower my layout)

This is what I have so far my scrappy friends. I'm happy that I am finding what works for me and this is what I created today with the above techniques that I want to begin implementing in my layouts.

This layout serves many purposes for me. I entered it in a contest for Simple Scrapbooks for a chance to win a Michael's Gift Card worth $500 wooohooo... Also, I am determined to finish my California vacation of 2006 and one picture a page is not going to cut it with the amount of pictures I have left.

Thanks for looking...

Journaling reads: What a breath of fresh air to be amidst all the natural beauty that Yosemite National Park has to offer. At Vernal Falls we saw a rainbow filled waterfall. This part of our trip was definitely worth wild...
