Jenni Bowlin Layouts...

Did you know that I love Jenni Bowlin products? I don't know what it is about her collections but they make me very happy...

I picked up this kit from Damaris last month. I was hoarding it until I had pictures that really inspired and motivated me. When I was sorting my July 4th pictures inspiration hit me so I burned the midnight oils and created these layouts.

I added my own cardstock and of some other goodies that I purchased from her but 95% of the supplies used on these layouts was from the kit. I checked with her and she still has some left so grab one before there gone. I promise you that you will be very happy with this kit. I sure was.

I'm off to watch So You Think You Can Dance and finish packing for my vacation. Thanks for stoping by. I really enjoy reading your comments so please let me know you dropped by my blog.

Goodnight!

Cosmo Cricket Rocks!!!

Hey everyone... Sorry I've been MIA but I've been under the weather but I'm so excited to reveal my very first design team layout for ScrapbooksNStuff . I'll be creating layouts for the store to give customer ideas of what to do with paper lines.

My first assignment was using "Cosmo Cricket". I love their lines because they are so child friendly and I love to make layouts of my boy. I used LIL Man for this double layout. Here's the sketch and then you'll see how I placed my photos.

I used a lot of paper for these layouts because I loved how they blended all together and I wanted to layer. I made the bracket with a Techinique Tuesday chipboard and cut it out. I distressed the edges of the paper with cat's eye just to give it a bit of dimension and I used cardstock as the background so the double layout would flow together. I added Cosmo Cricket stickers on the right side layout so that the phrase would pop a bit. These pictures really don't do my layouts justice.

I really need a 12 *12 scanner/printer. (Shamless plug on my behalf because my birthday is this month :-) A girl can wish...

This is the final layout with my pictures...I used boyscout pine derby photos from two years ago that I haven't gotten around to scrapbook. (I know I'm a terrible mother... NOT!!! LOL) I'm just not into the whole boy scout themed paper. The colors are so dreadful. Sorry for those of you who like it. It's all about preference but I do like things to be related and matchy. Do you get my drift? Well, look at the pine derby cut out on the left hand side. Total perfection for my photos...

I love how they turned out... It's simple, clean lines and the pictures pop... Total perfection for my son's boy scout album.

Remember to stop on by the store and pick up LiL Man line before it's all gone. You can also check out the message board starting next week for more wonderful ideas and techniques from the design team members.

We'll I hope you enjoyed my first DT layout... I'm excited to be working with them and I'm also trying out for Cosmo Cricket DT because why not work with companies that you love so wish me luck.

I promise to blog more frequently because life is back to normal in our household. If I don't get back to the blog in the next couple of days. I wish everyone a wonderful 4th of July and let freedom ring...

Goodnight...

Product Review...

Today, I visited Scrapbooks N Stuff to turn in my first assignment. WhooHoo!!! Of course I took a tour to see what's new and I came across this beautiful, wonderful, exciting, off the chain line by Little Yellow Bicycle. OK peeps, it's really cute I just feel the need to be dramatic today!!!

It's called Fresh Print TRAVELER... Do you know why I like it so much? It's because I'm doing a lot of traveling these next couple of months and I need paper people, and stickers, and journaling cards and more stickers. I didn't go crazy but the more I look at what I bought the more I realized I have to go back and buy more stuff...

Here are a few the papers and embellies I bought. I already know what I'm going to do with it so I'm in the mood to create.

So I give this product review a thumbs up :-)
Goodnight!

Drive by post

Hello peeps,

I'm swimming in rain... We'll figuratively. I'm purging my scrap space, doing laundry, getting ready for boy scouts later today, updating my gallery with layouts and yes updating my blog. All this in just a couple of hours. I'm being so productive that I need to stop it right now. LOL

Here's a layout I did with Jenni Bowlin's Farmers Market line. This line was so much fun to work with. I don't know about you but I love those mini papers. They make me very happy. I created a little journal that I'm going to use to write down all my odds and end's for the eighteen days my hubby is going to be away. I'm sure I'll have my moments so I thought it would be a nice experience to get those thoughts on paper.

Stay tuned for an upcoming RAK... I love presents don't you?

Have a wonderful weekend and stay dry...

Sketch Challenge

Hello peeps... I was over at Scrapbooks & Stuff's blog the other day and they announced a Sketch Challenge on their Message Board. I joined the online community and created my layout last night. Here's my take on the challenge.

My enabler Damaris introduced me to Glimmer Mist and I'm really liking it. I sprayed it on the chipboard piece and it dried instantly. It has a certain shine to it. I love it... I can't wait to get more colors.

I've set a goal and I'm not starting any new projects until my two vacation albums are completed. I'm off to scrapbook a little...

Goodnight...
