I'm finally

caught up with my mini projects that were missing this or missing that. I had a wonderful Sunday with my scrappy friends. We celebrated Vane's birthday. I must say that I spoiled her with tons of scrap goodness but hey what the heck she's my BFF. She spoiled me too with scrappy stuff. I'm so glad that Damaris, Anilu, Barbara and Esther joined us. It feels that all we did was eat but I actually finished a work in progress Acrylic Album. The subject was self portraits. It's a family tradition to take self portraits on special occasions. I love how it turned out. I promise to post pictures soon. The lighting at night is so bad that you can't appreciate the album. I was so motivated that night that I finished another mini album. It's a Disney Board Book that I bought at CKC. I was supposed to take the class but I couldn't make the convention because of family situations.


Breaking news:


I received my Dares Book in the mail today and let's just say I'm in love. This book is filled with dares, ideas and inspiration. I've only been able to glance at it but I love it and can't wait to start creating with it.




I also received my September kit from Cocoa Daisy and let's just say that I have mentally completed a mini album (I am starting to see a pattern here) on "NATURE". I have these amazing photos that we took in Yosemite National Park last year and they truly deserve an album dedicated to "Nature". I also bought an add-on kit that is beautiful and has a gorgeous flocked album by Memory Makers that is perfect for this album.




I have discovered this new love for mini albums. I don't know when and how it started but I love creating these mini's because there easy, fun and you can use a kit to finish it without having to add anything.
