So much to say

so little time. All I can say is WOW!!! Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. Last week was an extremely difficult week for me. I went through so many emotions that I felt I was drowning. My grandmother's surgery went well last monday but than everything went downhill from there. We thought she wasn't going to make it on Wednesday, the day I was supposed to leave to CKU. This is why I was trying to have someone go in my place because there are no refunds. I didn't mind losing the money but I wanted someone to at least enjoy the experience.

But my grandmother is slowly recovering and I decided to go to CKU. I'm so glad to have gotten the support I needed to make the decision to go. I had the most amazing scrapbook experience I have ever had. It's was everything I wanted but didn't expect. I thought it was going to be similar to CKC or even Scrapbook Expo but it was most definitely not...

Vane and I thought that the Album Track with Ali Edwards was the highlight of this weekend. This album is gorgeous. I'm only by day 2 but the final album is going to truly represent my life. We had one on one time with Ali and she even asked about my grandmother (I had sent her an email and Vane had talked to her the previous night at a book signing). She is so cute and nice and funny and energetic... She literally sat with every single person in this class and chit chatted. We were star strucked. Ali, Becky, Tim, Margie(MM) were funny, witty, amazing teachers and simply wonderful human beings.

I also met Lawren a fellow Daisy from Cocoa Daisy . We were only able to chit chat for a couple of minutes in line but we both agree that CKU was amazing and that Cocoa Daisy rocks. She has a great blog filled with information on "Going Green" which I'm really trying to implement in my life. You definitely must check out her blog.

Here is a layout I created for a my friend Damaris. She is hosting Croptoberfest this weekend and she wanted me to create some layouts with paper of the kit she is giving her clients. I was pumped to do something creative so I whipped these up. I only used three different products (solid cardstock, ribbon, and Knock,Knock posted notes. It's sweet and simple.

Last but not least, I made this layout for my second dare "Safe Place". I chose to do it on my DH because he always makes me feel safe. He is the best husband a woman could ever want.

Have a wonderful night and Happy Scrappin...
