Retail Therapy

Happy Sunday. I went to my favorite store New York & Company and did some damage for new clothing that I was in desperate need of. Since this scrapbooking obsession started I haven't really focused on my clothing but one of my New Years resolutions was to begin to dress myself according to my body type. I stopped trying to be trendy and embrace my weight challenge because it's going to be awhile before I'll be a size 6 again.... A long while.

In scrappy news, I created this layout in a matter of minutes I swear... I was cleaning up and organizing a bit and the pieces just started coming together and I went with it. I really love how it turned out. It's funny because I'll go to crops and it'll take me hours to get into my groove and than other times the mojo just flows.

We had some friends over for dinner and it was a hit. My hubby is awesome with the barbecue and he actually prepared everything because I was shopping but he loves to cook so it's all good.

Thanks to all my blogger friends that have been leaving messages. Don't forget to keep posting because I'm having a RAK at the end of my birthday month.

That layout is too cute!!! Love all the paper ribbon around the photo. Great idea!

Happy Monday to you!!! I'm totally dragging... soooo tired from my crazy weekend!!! xoxo

ooohhh, that skirt looks so pretty. Love those prints and colors. Of course the LO is fantastic. When the MOJO is here, girl you've got to run with it!
Glad you had a great time with friends. That is what life is all about!

Love those clothes! I want that skirt and the green shirt ; )

I'm so glad to see the layout with the picture of our last get together - we had so much fun and good food.

Work and play are the same. When you're following your energy and doing what you want all the time, the distinction between work and play dissolves.

I love the clothes!!!! I'm not working over the summer...so the cash flow is low. Only enough for my scrapping goodness, so sadly, I'm not very fashionable this summer, hee hee. I love the layout as well! Isn't cool how sometimes a layout just seems to make itself?!
