Balance

How do you do it? It's so hard for me to balance all the things in my life. I'm an extremest, I take it as far as I can until there is no more... For example, for the past two weeks I have nothing more than read. I read the entire Twilight Series within that time. The only reason it took so long is because I'm a mom and I have a job that I go to from 9:00-5:00 so it really gave me little time but every other waking minute I read...

I will not make any specific references to the series but I really loved them... Some parts dragged, others were intense but in the end I LOVED the story...Yes, I am a hopeless romantic... I can't wait to see the movie "Twilight" on December 12...

Because I lack balance, I haven't even entered my scraproom in two weeks, I haven't visited many of the blogs I read and I haven't updated my blog in forever... But all is back to normal again...

Have you seen Ali Edwards' new book on Mini Albums... Wow, what a source of inspiration... I haven't read it yet but I've looked at some of the albums and I have so many projects that I would love to do but wait............ I have so many unfinished mini's already that I refuse to start anything new.

So, my focus for the next couple of weeks is to finish all my pending projects. I started this on Saturday at Scrap Pink. Damaris is definitely the hostess with the mostess. She really welcomes you into her home and makes the day as wonderful as possible and not to mention she makes the yummiest food. I finished two projects, one Christmas present and a fabulous make and take. I felt accomplished by the end of the evening.

A Week in the Life by Ali Edwards

Fourth of July mini

A Christmas present for a special little girl. This layout was a scraplift from Cocoa Daisy. Why mess with perfection...

Check out this super cute make and take that Damaris had. I plan on adding photos of my niece with her friends and giving it to her as one of her Christmas presents. I'm so ahead of the game this year.

Well everyone, I have a bunch of other things going on but I'll leave that for another post. I've been trying to complete this one for a couple of days... It's incredible how dependent I am on internet. Have a happy Friday.
I'm going camping this weekend with the Boy Scouts in Fiesta Key. It's such a great place to hang out, fish and swim. I'm sure I'll have plenty of photos to share.
Goodnight!

I know how you feel. I've learned to be OK with it all. It's OK if you read for 2 weeks... it's all good because it's for you and that's what you enjoy. Have fun this weekend. Sounds like lots of fun. Love the LOs.

Oh my friend, it's hard but the truth is that you go with the flow. As long as you enjoyed the reading, then it was well spent time. I am so glad you hade a good time at ScrapPink. I had enjoyed myself even more celebrating it with all of you. Have fun camping!!!
