to all my friends, family and cyber buddies all over the world. I can't explain why I haven't blogged in such a long time. I'll just blame it on lack of mojo...
I have been super busy this past month with lots on my to-do list. My amazing little boy turned 10 years old. I bought him a cake to celebrate with his cub-scout buddies. He was super surprised with his presents because I was really upset with him that week and I cancelled a surprise party I had planned for him and told him he wasn't opening presents. I caved, somewhat and gave him his presents.
The following weekend we went camping and attended a wedding all in the same weekend. I was exhausted but I still managed to look beautiful. LOL...
I forced myself to make a casino themed album for my niece for her 15th birthday. My mojo has been in hybernation but I really wanted to surprise her. On the last page of the album I made a simple layout that said jackpot and I adhered a $100 bill. At first, she thought that it was a cool page but then she realized that it was real and she flipped. I'm so glad I captured that picture.
Easter was very low keyed this year. I had all kinds of plans to make cards, prepare an Easter brunch, egg hunting and all sorts of other fun festivities but alas we did nothing but rest, relax and watch movies and you know what my son was fine with it and so was I. I always feel guilty when I don't go beyond the call of duty but I'm learning to just be...
Last but not least, I plan to scrapbook as soon as I finish this post. I haven't done anything for me in such a long time. It's been at least three months. How pathetic is that... I really think it will help me emotionally because I'm a mess dudes... Oh, I almost forgot... Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers on my biopsy but thank goodness all is well and I began my hormone therapy to get my system back into shape. The doctor says that it should help with tiredness, irritability, weight loss and depression. So far NOT! but I have to give it time.

missed you. glad you are doing ok. i have learned over the years that the simpler the better. we really need to stop adding these crazy over the top expectations on ourselves...the kids do fine with the simple life....remind me of this next time i get another hairbrainer...lol.
