Wow!

what a day... It's been such a productive day for me. I decided to stay home and get some household things done because I've been visiting my grandmother at the hospital after work and I haven't been home much. She's doing better physical (thank GOD) but she is still confused and disoriented.

I cleaned, did laundry, went to lunch with D, did some major groceries, put it all away, made dinner. My DH (Jorge) took us to the movies to see Evan Almighty (awesome movie by the way, it was much better than what I expected). I worked on a altered project for my scraproom, blogged my heart away and finally, yes finally, I created a beautiful layout about my grandmother... Wow, I'm tired now...

This is a MDF vase I bought at Target. I mod podged pp to the bottom half on all four sides than painted the top portion sage green, stamped swirls and put this beautiful felt butterfly that Vane gave to me. You can see more pics on my SIS Tv portfolio. I also finished two chipboard words and put them over each window in my scrap room.

This is one of the best pages I have ever done. I did it with Cocoa Daisy's June kit. I added Heidi Swapp flowers and Martha Stewart labels to finish the look I wanted. I am so justifing the need to buy supplies. Eventually, it all ties in together. Yeah for me!!!
Enjoy the pics and have a Happy Sunday...

wow...you were a very busy woman! I'm tired just reading what you accomplished today. Your room is just adorable and my daughters room is the same paint color. So happy that your grandmother is doing better.
