I miss my blog

so much... I haven't been able to just sit and write. Life is so hectic and my spirits have just been so low, low, low... Between work and visiting grandma at the hospital I haven't done much. Last weekend I went to Build a Bear with my DS and my Goddaughter and let them make a bear. Well actually, D made a dinosaur and Nina made a cougar. They had a good time. I took a bunch of pictures.

This weekend I did some major spring cleaning. I totally reorganized my closet and got rid of three bags of clothes, shoes and purses. It looks so beautiful and spacious now. The best part is that I get to go shopping for stuff that actually fits me. I have gained so much weight that it is sickening to stomach... My DH and I are reading a book called Eat More, Weigh Less by Dr. Dean Ornish. We are really going to attempt at a better eating lifestyle. Fad diets just don't work for us. We haven't started it because my schedule is just so hectic and we really want to work together to make it work. Stay tuned for updates as soon as we make a commitment to it...

I'm also reading Life Artist by Ali Edwards. This book is so inspiring. It's about how you feel about creating, how to interprete your life and actually document it. The visuals are also amazing and with every page I read I feel as if she's alloying me into her life and is sharing with us the things in her life that make her click. I'm only by Chapter 2 but it is a fantastic book. I can't wait for Vane to get back from Spain so we can discuss it. If any of you have read it or are reading it and want to discuss it just send me a note or email me at oftheangels@blogspot.com.

Last but not least, I am slowly but surely in the process of finishing my A Week in the Life project. I'm by day 4 so yippie only three more days to go for this project to be complete. It's a great project.

Ohhh I almost forgot. I actually taught a class for my friend Damaris's Croptoberfest. I was so nervous. I have a fear of speaking in front of large crowds. It makes me sick to my stomach but I'm really trying to overcome some of my fears so I went for it and it was a trully liberating defeat for me. It went great and the girls loved the simplicity of the layout.

I'll post some pics soon. Have a great week.
