This is going to be a long recap

about my activities for the past two weekends...I've really wanted to blog but time just has not been by my side. I'm trying to stay on top of housework, cooking, homework, laundry that there are just not enough hours in the day to visit blogs, update my blog and visit my facebook friend... I call this my life.

(I haven't even scrapped anything either but I have a couple of events coming up so I'm really excited)

Well, where do I begin? Two weekends ago we celebrated Noemi's birthday scrapbooking. We ate delicious Puerto Rican food and scrapped away. She loved all her presents and I actually was able to accomplish something. I made my class kit "Acrylic Christmas Album" that Damaris taught last year but I wasn't able to go to the class so she lent me the sample and I totally just copied it. It's great when you don't have to design from scratch. As soon as it's done I'll share a peek...

I made this layout as one of Noemi's birthday presents...
On Sunday, Richard and Vanessa hosted a Labor Day Barbecue. We all had a wonderful time together. I really love family and friend get togethers. You get to mingle and enteract with each other... I don't have many pictures yet but I'll share what I have thus far.

Than last weekend we went to Gainesville to see UM vs UF... My hubby is a UF alumni and he has wanted to take D and I to a game for such a long time. He was able to get us fantastic tickets so we drove up on Friday. Let me just tell you " I LOVE GAINESVILLE". It's such a terrific little town with a great vibe. We stayed with a friend of Jorge's. Her house was beautiful and she was such an awesome host. She also had two doggies that D feel in love with. He can't stop talking about a doggie but we'll wait and see if he'll ever get one... That's a whole other story for another day.
The game was fantastic. The gators won 26 to 3. D and I really got involved in the game and we kept asking Jorge " what happened" because I have idea of football terminology. I can't wait to go back and see more. Oh, we also had the opportunity of visiting the Butterfly Rainforest located on campus. What a beautiful sanctuary. I was able to get a couple of great photos.

Did you notice that I was in full Gator gear? have to support my hubby and my son's future university (God willing).

With all that I did my heart still hurts because my best friend Vane lost her Mami this weekend. I wish that I could take her pain away but I know that that only time can ease this pain. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I think that's all folks. I hope to get back to blogging more frequently...

Goodnight!

I love that you were in full Gator gear for the game -- we are big college football fans, and I can only imagine what a fun time that was!
