Random musings...

Yes, I'm alive and kicking... More like I feel like kicking and screaming. I have been a bit overwhelmed with life and I haven't had any real time to sit and blog. Sorry peeps... I made a mental note to sit for thirty minutes and post.

So much has been going on since the last time I blogged. First, my hubby was gone for 10 whole days for a Leadership program he is a part of. I'm really proud of him but wow did we miss him. I had the whole load of work, home, housework, child, homework, studying, extracurricular activities, and family on my shoulders and I was so overwhelmed and edgy. I managed to get through it but I'm thrilled that all is back to normal here.

I'm finished with school but I've started attending the fourth grade again. LOL... I do not remember school being so involved when I was in the 4th grade. My son has so much homework, projects and research to do. Aghhhhhh. Our biggest project is due December 1 and it's on "POLITICS". We have really been studying the issues by both parties and working on a Scrapbook that is subdivided into seven sections. I've been complaining about it everyday to my peeps but I've actually learned a lot and we've made progress in organizing the scrapbook.

Vanessa found the cutest stamps at Paper Source of a political donkey and a political elephant. I couldn't resist so I bought them and we'll be using the heck out of them within the scrapbook.

I've been catching up on pending projects and working diligently to complete my Puerto Rico vacation album. I was super inspired on Saturday and I made around 9 layouts and inserts with my journaling indexes. As soon as I'm finished I'll post pictures.

Well, my time is up today but I'll be back. Peace out...
