Meet "Ruby"

the newest member of our family.

Jorge surprised us today with a toy Rat Terrier. Talk about love at first site for D'Angelo. His eyes light up when he saw her playing in the backyard this afternoon. He had a rough day at school and he was really upset but all those worries were out the door when he had her in his arms.

Just for the record, I am NOT an animal lover. Never have been and probably never will be. I've laid down the rules about having a dog in the house and the first scent of pet odor I get, we are going to have some serious problems.
I think Ruby will be a wonderful pet for D'Angelo because she's small enough for him to manage and seeing him so happy is all I really want. So I'll give this pet ownership a try. Thank goodness that Jorge is an animal lover and he'll be able to take her to work with him so she can be with the other dogs at his nursery.

Well peeps aren't you impressed that I've blogged so much this week. Heck, I'm impressed.

Goodnight!!!

You know I LOVE dogs and this one is especially cute and cuddly!!! However, knowing you as I do and knowing your prior dog's fate, I have to ask the inevitable question... how long will Ruby last??? LOL! I love you girl! I hope you fall in love with her as much as I'm sure she's fallen in love with you guys!!! xoxo

You guys are funny. Congratulations and GOD BLESS. She's beautiful. I see many LOs in your future. My Sheena (white female toy poodle) joined our family 12 years ago and she should have left 11but it's all about the kids.

Girl, I give it to you. I hope someday I get into the pet thing cause right now, I'm still trying to keep up with feeding and cleaning up after my kids. For their sake, I hope it gets easier or else I'll see them with a therapist talking about how I ruined their life because I never let them own a pet! Cute dog...for you. I'm not there yet!
