So many projects

so little time... Why is it that I want all my projects finished now? I am notorious for having an idea and running with it. I decided to re-do my son's bathroom. We haven't started it yet and re-do my son's room all by March 22, his birthday... I'm crazy but so inspired to have all the rooms in the house perfect.

He want's STAR WARS... He's going to be ten years old and he is so over the dinosaur bedding. Although he still loves Dinosaurs. Truth be told, I'm over it too... So I found great bedding at Pottery Barn Kids and I'll be visiting the store today and purchasing the sheet set and throw pillow. I was going to by the comforter but I can't justify paying $179 for a ten year old's room. I'll be having a fit everytime I pass the room and find it on the floor or him coloring on the bed so I'll just avoid it and buy him a denim comforter instead. Good idea right!!!

In other news, I had a great Saturday afternoon with my Scrappy gals. We celebrated Damaris' birthday and spent the day eating, talking and a little scrapping... LOL It's a tradition that I always buy Damaris her birthday cake from Cakes by Design, you know the delicious Rum cake they are famous for but alas, I was short on time so I went to my local bakery and feel in love with this cake. OMG, her colors, her style, it's so her so I made an executive decision to try out their version of rum cake. I was a bit worried but in my mind I totally justified it if it wasn't good. I told her as long as it looks good in pictures that's all I care about:-)

Guess what? It was better than Cakes by Design... WhooHoo, I was happy.

Well, I'm off to spend time with my mom. She came over for the weekend and we are organizing her 3.5 million photos she's collected over the years. We've only gone through 500 thus far. Wish me luck peoples...

Have a great week. Peace Out...
