I'm here

but I'm not very articulate today. I have many thoughts in my head but the only thing I can type is blah, blah, blah... So in order for my peeps to visit my blog again this is going to be a very random post with what's been happening in my scrappy world for the past couple of weeks.

Two weekends ago I went to Sanibel Harbour on a scrapbook retreat with Scrapbooks Designs Unlimited. What do you get when you combine scrapbooking, friends, food and beach? Well you get the most amazing weekend with my scrappy friends. I scraplifted 17 pages that I simply love. I'm not ashamed to admit it. I've come to terms that when I go scrapbooking away from home I am much more productive lifting and then when I'm home I can get creative with my own stuff... Slacker, yes I know but I have a beautiful DC/NYC scrapbook. LOL

When I came back my mojo was kicking so I kept scrapbooking with my newest kit from Cocoa Daisy. It's was inspired by Ali Edwards and it's all about letters and numbers. At first glance all I could picture were school layouts but I was so wrong. I've done four layouts with the kit and two are non school related. Here's one of the layouts I created for Scrapbooks N Stuff weekly challenge blog. They feature a couple of layouts each month for great prizes so you should definitely check it out.

Are you tired yet of reading? Well one more thing before I go. I've also been purging my scraproom yet again. I'm trying really hard to get this room to function as a scraproom, home office and study room for my hubby. I'm getting there and with a couple of more hours that I dedicate to purging it might just be completed. Hope this will be a more permanent solution to our dilemma.

Well peeps, that's enough blabber on my part for one day. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Goodnight,
Ady

i'm all about the blah blah blah. i do it all the time...nonstop :) u look too cute in your apron, by the way. i didn't want to get mine dirty. i don't own one single thing with an "L" on it and have always wanted to be like the LaVerne from LaVerne & Shrirly so mine is hanging very neatly in my closet. Well I'm off to stalk the Scrapbooks & Stuff blog. Love your layout :) and that kit from Cocoa Daisy...sigh, i need to win the lottery!

I say scraplifting is the best part of scrapbooking - where else can you find FAB ideas? :)
