Happy Birthday

Mom!! This weekend between sending my son on his first camping trip alone, working at our Boy Scout garage sale to earn the boys extra cash for their summer camping trip, going to open house for D's Middle School and making deliveries we celebrated my Mom's 31st birthday.

She's been counting backwards for many years now. At this point she's going to start denying that I'm her daughter. We all went to Schnebly's winery to celebrate another wonderful year in her life. Omar, Liz and Taby joined us. We had a lot of fun and drank a lot of wine.

I adore my mom... She is real, down to earth and tells it like it is. She gave me the strength I needed during many difficult times in my life. She was never disappointed in me and if she was she never showed it. She lifted me up when I was down and has always loved me unconditionally. She adores my son (more than she loves me) and that's totally fine with me. I hope to be as good of a mother as she's been to me. I didn' t agree with a lot of the things she did as I was growing up. I was very sheltered but I now understand why she did what she did and I can respect her for it.

Here are some fun photos we took last night.

All these photos were taken with my new 50mm lens that Karen Russell suggested... I love how the photos turned out...

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you have an awesome week, I'll try to be back with more stuff later this week.

XOXO,

Ady

Happy Birthday to you Mom! :)

I love my 50mm lens too. DH doesn't think it does much but I love how wide the aperture is and how I can take pretty fabulous pics with low light. :) My next purchase will be a 28mm!
