Today was the first time since my mini vacation that I have had time to sit and blog. I've been such a bad blogger but life just gets in the way. I've been super busy with work, school and all the activities that I planned back to back. Agghhhh...
I had such an awesome time in Ohio with my peeps Vane and Damaris. I love these women so much and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Trish is such a wonderful human being and her family is beautiful. She invited us to stay with her on Thursday (the day before the retreat), we went to dinner and simply had a wonderful dinner with the whole family. Her house is so beautiful.

We started shopping the minute we landed... We went to Cord Camera and Archivers. We purchased a couple of things. Not to much because we were pacing ourselves. Vane, Damaris and I went to Medina to go antiquing. The store was amazing and the prices were phenominal. I bought a white wood scalloped chalkboard. It looks like the treading water punch and some white distressed circle frames.

The Bertram Inn was very nice, accomodating and we each had a six foot table. I accomplished a lot. I made three mini books, four halloween layouts, and a Thanksgiving banner. I made the mistake of taking projects that all involved modpodging so I was a bit bored at times. All the ladies were so nice and we made a lot of friends. We met Tina Zarlenga, Laina Lamb and Kelly Bryan. Trish's friend Mary Ann and Stacey sat with us and they were so funny and friendly, not to mention that MaryAnn let me use a bunch of supplies that I needed. I really liked limiting myself because I was able to focus on what I wanted to do.

At times it was a bit chilly and it even snowed on Saturday night and Sunday morning... I was so excited because I have never seen snow so I was giddy. Vane captured a bunch of photos of me playing in the snow. It was so much fun.

The best part of my trip back home was seeing the loves of my life...

I'm off to bed and I'm still achy... I'll leave you with that thought and post later on this week of why I'm so achy... Goodnight...

I've never seen snow either so I'm really hoping there will be snow when we go to Washington. Fingers crossed!
